FX cancels Terriers

FX has officially canceled Terriers, its critically beloved yet criminally ignored neo-noir about private eyes. According to Deadline, the show—which just wrapped its first season last week—was the lowest-rated freshman drama series in the history of the network, with an average of 970,000 viewers per episode, only half of which were in the coveted 18-49 demographic. (If it’s any consolation, it got one good season, which is more than a lot of potentially great shows get these days.) Angry fans are urged to start bombarding FX offices with cute and cuddly dogs.
