FX orders more Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell

FX has doubled down on its burgeoning late-night programming, renewing Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell for what it's calling a "second cycle," despite the "first cycle" (which concludes Sept. 20) only being about five episodes long. In terms of cycles, it is not exactly Wagner's Ring. Anyway, the "second cycle" of Bell's politically minded talk show will begin on Oct. 11, debuting in a new Thursdays at 11:30 p.m. ET slot in a one-hour block after the previously renewed Brand X With Russell Brand, the floppy British clown show that has lately been on hiatus for retooling. Biased will get at least seven more half-hour episodes before, presumably, a possible "third cycle" is allowed to begin. Ooh, that's probably the one with the dragons!
