After nearly blowing up the entire show last season by almost killing off all of its main characters, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia will be returning to FXX for another year of gloriously misanthropic and mean-spirited adventures on January 14, 2017. This will be season number 12 for It’s Always Sunny, which survived the transition from FX to FXX and will outlive the Barack Obama presidency, so at least it’s helping us retain some consistency in these tumultuous times.
Anyway, this comes from Splitsider, which is also reporting that the Jay Baruchel-starring Man Seeking Woman will have its third season premiere on January 14 as well. The surreal, romantic-ish comedy was renewed back in April, and though it doesn’t have the tenure of It’s Always Sunny just yet, maybe it’ll still be putting Baruchel in crazy situations for another decade or so.
