It’s a day that ends in “y,” so it’s time for another cool Internet tidbit related to Game Of Thrones. Today’s neat behind the scenes glimpse comes from Sangeet Prabhaker, the U.K. based effects artist who has worked on several key aspects of Thrones. For instance, he produced (year old spoiler alert) Jamie Lannister’s decaying stump arm, as well as Catelyn Stark’s post-Red Wedding neck gash. Prabhaker has been posting pics of his work to Instagram, and it’s interesting to see how actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau’s real arm is integrated into Lannister’s stump. Prabhaker has also posted pictures of how he created Shireen Baratheon’s scaly face, which he says he based on “some references of lamellar ichthyosis.”
