Game Of Thrones’ Finn Jones has a very unusual theory on who will end up on the Iron Throne

Because it’s hard to last long between seasons of Game Of Thrones, The A.V. Club recently visited the Behind The Scenes: Season Six event in Chicago, where we immersed ourselves in the making-of HBO’s fantasy show of scheming and death. While there, we checked out some props from the set, took a picture with a weirwood tree, and fought off an enemy attack in a VR experience. (The show will be in L.A. this weekend.) You can see much of the behind-the-scenes action in the newly released Blu-ray of season six.

We also spoke to Finn Jones, who plays Loras Tyrell, as he sat upon the Iron Throne—something his character will never do (see season six). He spoke enthusiastically about his first American Thanksgiving dinner, played “marry fuck kill” with the Lannister siblings, and shared his unusual theory of who will—and who won’t—sit on the Iron Throne at shows’s end.
