Game Of Thrones is going on a concert tour

Living in the world of Game Of Thrones seems like it’d be a lot of fun, and now HBO is going to bring fans as close to that as possible with a concert tour featuring series composer Ramin Djawadi, a full orchestra and choir, and “state-of-the-art technology” that will recreate some of the show’s thrilling visuals. Also, two seasoned warriors will fight to the death just for your enjoyment and a real-life dragon will crash into the venue and burn everyone—actually, that stuff might not be true, but it should be.

A press release sent out by HBO and Live Nation says the music will be accompanied by footage of “the various realms throughout Westeros and Essos” alongside stuff from the show and “new imagery created exclusively for the tour,” but we’re not sure what that specifically means beyond having a giant screen behind the musicians (as seen in the concept art up above). Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, August 13, with the tour itself kicking off early next year. The full list of tour dates is below.
