After all that time spent shivering on the other side of the Wall, Kristofer Hivju’s headed to Cuba with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Kurt Russell, and maybe Charlize Theron. The Wrap reports the Game Of Thrones actor has just joined the cast of Fast 8, which is taking advantage of the cozier diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba to enjoy some fun and drag-racing in the sun. Hivju, who recently appeared in Force Majeure, will play a dastardly henchman, though it’s not currently known in whose thrall he’ll be. Rumors have swirled that Theron would lend some of her Mad Max: Fury Road fierceness to the fast, always furious sequel as the main antagonist, but there’s been no official confirmation. Diesel, the franchise lead and one-man marketing department, hasn’t weighed in on the announcement yet, but that’s probably just because he’s been too busy hanging out with Samuel L. Jackson on the set of the latest xXx film.
