Pedro Pascal, the Chilean American actor who (spoiler) just wrapped his run as Game Of Thrones’ Red Viper, Oberyn Martell, has found his next role. He’ll play one of the leads in Narcos, Netflix’s new true-life drama about Pablo Escobar. Pascal will play Javier Pena, a Mexican DEA agent sent by the U.S. to Colombia to hunt down and either capture or kill the notorious drug lord. Wagner Moura will play Escobar.
The show will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2015. Pablo Escobar was killed in 1993, after Colombian National Police raided the barrio where he was hiding in Medellin.
