Game Of Thrones scenes + Sesame Street theme = nightmare time
After 46 years, Sesame Street will be moving from PBS to HBO, where its neighbors will include the Game of Thrones TV series. Toronto TV-writer David Elmaleh has created a mashup of Game Of Thrones’ bloopers, where everyone is all smiles, added in some of Thrones’ bloodiest moments, including the Red Wedding and the beheading of Ned Stark, and set the whole thing to Sesame Street’s theme song.
Sweet voices sing “Come and play, everything is A-OK” as Petyr Baelish pushes Lysa Arryn out of the moon door to her death. They sing “friendly neighbors there” as Karsi is overtaken by a pack of undead children at the Battle Of Hardhome. The video ends with Elmo watching Viserys Targaryen being crowned with molten gold. It’s not exactly kid-friendly, but it is internet approved.
