Gary Glitter released from Vietnamese jail
CNN is reporting that glam-rocker Gary Glitter (a.k.a. Paul Francis Gadd) has been released from jail in Vietnam, where he was serving a three-year sentence for "obscene acts with children." His 2006 conviction involved two pre-teen girls. It wasn't the first time Glitter was in trouble, of course—he spent time in the pokey in his homeland (that'd be the U.K.) after computer repairmen found kiddie porn on his laptop. He'll be deported to Britain asap. Seriously, dude, any goodwill you built up from "Rock & Roll (Part 2)" is long gone.
