Gary Numan goes full electro goth with new single "Love Hurt Bleed"

Gary Numan’s new record, Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind), is out Oct. 15, and, in anticipation, the electro-icon is really blowing out his goth tendencies. First came news that he would be opening for Nine Inch Nails at a couple shows in Florida this October. Then came news that he’ll be performing in L.A.’s Hollywood Forever Cemetery Oct. 17 and 18, just two weeks before Halloween. Now, Numan’s dropped a new single, “Love Hurt Bleed,” which The A.V. Club is premiering exclusively below. Dark, driving, and very NIN-y, “Love Hurt Bleed” is one of Splinter’s standout tracks, and definitely shows Numan’s growth as an artist. In other words, he’s not just the “Cars” guy anymore.

Numan will be playing a number of tour dates this fall in addition to the cemetery stop, and those are all listed below.
