George Michael’s final song could make its way out into the world

One of the late George Michael’s final recordings could be released posthumously, the BBC reports. The Listen Without Prejudice artist was collaborating with Virgin EMI’s DJ Naughty Boy in the weeks before his death. Although not much progress was made on Michael’s album, the pair did work together on a track for DJ Naughty Boy’s new album. That song, which the producer calls “amazing but… just a bit bittersweet,” remained unfinished in the wake of Michael’s death. “His journey, musically and historically, is so much bigger than him doing a track with Naughty Boy,” the musician explained. But he does tell the BBC that he “wouldn’t rule out” including it on his forthcoming album. There’s currently no release date for the as-yet-untitled album.
