Filmmakers long ago realized that the quickest way to foreshadow impending doom—and up suspense for the audience—is to have a character declare he has a “bad feeling” about something. Now animator and visual effects artist Glenn O’Neill reveals just how common that expression is in a new supercut of characters just asking for trouble by stating the obvious. And while it’s not totally comprehensive (only six of Star Wars’ eight canonical usages appear), there’s something delightful about watching characters see the writing on the wall over and over and over again.
