Get Involved, Internet: Eef Barzelay of Clem Snide is going to cover The Sound Of Music

Many A.V. Club readers likely learned to love Eef Barzelay of Clem Snide via his A.V. Undercover rendition of Journey's "Faithfully." (Watch it below!) That session led to a vinyl release of Clem Snide's Journey, which found Barzelay covering six Journey songs. (Full disclosure, the barely existent record label that I help run co-released it.) Now Barzelay is embarking on another Kickstarter journey, this time for a project called The Sound Of Music City. As that clever title suggests, the project will feature songs from the famed musical, with Barzelay accompanied by players from Music City—Nashville—where he currently resides. He plans to do five songs, none of which are "16 Going On 17," which is kind of a crime. The Kickstarter page is right here; he's already met his modest goal, but that doesn't mean you can't kick in and get the music (and other incentives).
