Spend enough time going out, and you’re probably going to see the same types over and over again. This is doubly true if you spend most of your night time in one, relatively small, genre-driven scene. Electronic Beats writer Daniel Jones and illustrator Shaltmira have spent enough time in the techno scene that they’ve managed to distill their fellow club-goers into a few core types. To make sure you know who’s who in the abandoned power-generating station, they’ve turned them into a series of handy, informative trading cards.

They’re all here: The Ancient, who’s all of 35, and has to leave early because they have a job now; The Post-Genreist trying to dance to recordings of human screams; and The Plague Of Bros, who expected this to sound more like Deadmau5 and are bumming everyone out.
