Get your first look at the new Star Trek series and starship

The Star Trek 50th anniversary panel at Comic-Con brought together generations of Starfleet captains and officers to reminisce about the previous series, but also talk about their hopes for the new, Bryan Fuller-led show. It was fun, and there were doughnuts (for those in line), but fans were hoping to actually glean some info beyond the new serialized format. Thankfully, CBS did not disappoint—the new All Access show has been christened Star Trek: Discovery, which is also the name of the new starship. Feast your eyes on the U.S.S. Discovery NCC-1031:

Star Trek: Discovery is in production, and will premiere early next year.
