Ghost In The Shell abandons host body for more famous host body

Apparently deciding that its previous host body hadn’t been on enough magazine covers for its liking, the Ghost In The Shell movie has abandoned its Margot Robbie-shaped human shell in favor of one shaped like Scarlett Johansson. Deadline reports that Robbie’s interest in the part has “fizzled” and she is now considering a role in Suicide Squad, one of the approximately 3,000 DC movies coming to a multiplex near you between now and the end of the world in 2020. Johansson was reportedly offered $10 million to take over the role, a price dictated both by her recent action successes in Lucy and The Avengers and the aforementioned magazine covers. The name of her character has presumably been changed from Motoko Kusanagi to Montana Kristofferson, script revisions pending.
