Never one to cater to the demands of a proper promotion cycle, Ghostface Killah announced via his Twitter feed yesterday, “APOLLO KIDS LIVE TO SPIT THE REAL! December 14th, Cop That!” which is Mr. Killah’s way of letting you know that he has a new record called Apollo Kids debuting on December 14, and you should consider buying it. The name, of course, comes from the Supreme Clientele track “Apollo Kids,” which has a video that Wikipedia describes thusly: “Ghostface spends much of the video donning mink coats and rapping while eating a golden ice cream cone.” Please note that this is what we want our eulogy to sound like.
