Ghostface Killah’s 2000 album Supreme Clientele is considered a modern hip-hop classic, but apparently composer Jack Urbont has just gotten around to hearing it. Urbont, whose “Iron Man Theme” was sampled on two tracks from Clientele, has filed suit against Ghostface and Sony Music Entertainment, alleging copyright infringement, reports Rolling Stone. Urbont’s suit also accuses Ghostface of not paying royalties to Marvel Comics for his use of the nickname Tony Starks, a variation on Iron Man’s alter ego Tony Stark, even though Urbont is not formerly associated with Marvel. The lateness of the suit seems a little strange, but just wait until this guy gets around to hearing Fishscale—his mind is really going to be blown.
