Giant Bomb discovers that it’s difficult to play Super Mario 3 while riding a roller coaster
It may seem like we live in a world with few remaining things to be discovered. We’ve found every last bit of land, explored the deepest seas, mastered flight and even learned that if you jam salt into caramel it’s super delicious. The folks at Giant Bomb, however, haven’t given up on discovery. In their latest video they bravely take to Six Flags to discover one of the last great questions of our world: How far can you get in Super Mario 3 if you’re riding a roller coaster at the same time?
The answer, as it turns out, is not extremely far (but maybe farther than you think.) The important thing is that we, as a people, now know our limits when it comes to playing video games on moving roller coasters. To paraphrase a quote from a more famous, though certainly no less important event: “[We do these things] not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”
