Gilmore Girls to reunite, and some writers from Dawson’s Creek will be there, too

Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will join Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino at the 2015 ATX Television Festival in Austin, taking place June 4 through June 7. The big news comes after the collective squeals of fan appreciation spurred by Gilmore Girls being added in its entirety to Netflix last month.

Gilmore was the highlight of my ridiculous life. I can’t wait to sit with these unbelievable broads and relive a time where sleep did not exist, where stress and coffee were mama’s little helpers, and where we all dove into the deep end together to make something weird and very, very cool,” said Sherman-Palladino of the pending reunion.

Additionally—and admittedly, a bit less exciting—the writers of Dawson’s Creek will also be in Austin to participate for the festival’s first-ever “Writers’ Room Reunion.” Creator Kevin Williamson and showrunner Greg Berlanti will attend a panel that features producers, writers, assistants Jenny Bicks, Julie Plec, Rob Thomas, Liz Tigelaar, Paul Stupin, Rina Mimoun, Maggie Friedman, Anna Fricke, Dana Baratta, and Gina Fattore to talk about writing for The WB’s mopiest teens.
