Girl Meets World to continue introducing itself with a third season
Now that the first two seasons of the show have covered all middle-school concerns (including whatever happened to Minkus), Girl Meets World is ready to introduce itself to high school. The Wrap reports the Disney Channel has renewed the sitcom for a third season, which will see Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard), daughter of Cory and Topanga, encounter the harrowing world of trigonometry and going viral (it’s admittedly been a long time since we were in high school). The whole cast will return for season three, which will begin production in January and debut in spring 2016.
Now that the Boy Meets World spin-off is all grown-up, maybe Riley and her best friend Maya will ask to have co-ed sleepovers with the kids over at Evermoor, or have a very special episode about a very special Ask.fm. Or Riley and Maya could get an ostensibly cool, motorcycle-riding English teacher who challenges their preconceived notions of life. Oh, wait, that already happened. Well, at least there will never be another Mr. Feeny.
