Girls reveal release date, track list, album art for new album Father, Son, Holy Ghost
The San Francisco-based, un-Google-able band Girls released its debut LP Album in 2009, which was then embraced by critics equally obsessed with the music and frontman Chrisopher Owens' personal history in the Children of God cult. The band followed up that success with the acclaimed EP Broken Dreams Club last November, and now it's readying a second full-length, Father, Son, Holy Ghost, which comes out September 13, a day after its European release. According to NME, the band recorded the album in an office block in San Francisco.
Girls has also released the album cover – which features an amalgamation of cryptic phrases such as "We're All Gonna Die" and "We're All Going Straight to Hell" mixed in with "My Heart Is Broken" and "My Love Is A River" – and a full track list, listed below.
