Glenn Danzig now available in adorable doll form

You'll never get the real Glenn Danzig to come to your tea party, but soon it will be much easier to pretend. Japanese toy maker Medicom has just unleashed "3 Faces of Danzig," a series of 10-inch, $75 dolls depicting the master of hardcore/metal dread at three stages in his career. (For that price, you'd think they'd be able to talk shit with your talking Ghostface Killah doll, but these dollies are mute.)

"Misfits-version" Danzig which wears his classic skull-and-crossbones black T-shirt from the Misfits' Walk Among Us album cover; "Samhain-version" Danzig, covered in dripping blood ala the Initium LP cover, and "Danzig-version" Danzig, which is shirtless and comes complete with the trademark Danzig belt buckle and upside-down-cross medallion necklace as on the Lucifuge album.

In other words, you can now display Danzig's progress from perverse to vicious to "Lord of Darkness," right next to your wedding China. Even the most violent-looking of the dolls is sort of cute, thanks to the oversized head and hands and exaggeratedly aggressive posture.

Now available at Spencer Gifts, Hot Topic, and wherever else dark, tacky knick-knacks are sold.
