Three years after Allelujah! Don’t Bend! Ascend!, Godspeed You! Black Emperor has announced its next LP. Asunder, Sweet And Other Distress is due March 31 on Constellation and is the “first newly-composed work from the group since [its] 2010 reformation,” according to a press release. The album’s already been road tested, with the group playing some of its tracks/sounds/concepts out on the road as a long-form piece known to fans as “Behemoth.” An excerpt from the album’s enthusiastically punctuated opening track, “Peasantry Or Light! Inside Of Light!” is below, as are the group’s European tour dates.
