Godzilla stomps "Over The Rainbow" in new King Of The Monsters trailer

If the previous trailers for Godzilla: King Of The Monsters haven’t sold you on the grandeur of its chaotic visuals, give its latest clip a shot. In it, Millie Bobby Brown and Bradley Whitford bleed into the background as Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah, and the lizard himself shake off bullets and barrel through shuddering chunks of land and sea. An orchestral version of “Over The Rainbow” gives the events a cheeky air, but also a melancholic one, which falls in line with the bizarre empathy the monster’s built up over the years.

Brown and Whitford are joined by Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Sally Hawkins, and Thomas Middleditch in the film, which rears its head on May 31.
