Golan The Insatiable moves from Fox’s Animation Domination High-Def to primetime
As reported by Deadline, Golan The Insatiable—which premiered as part of Fox’s late-night Animation Domination High-Def block—is getting called up to the proverbial big leagues. Starting on Sunday, May 31, new half-hour episodes of Golan will be airing on Fox in the 9:30 time slot. That will make Golan the first of Fox’s ADHD shows to make the jump from late-night to primetime, which means real humans can actually watch it now.
Golan The Insatiable is about “a mighty godlord from an alternate dimension” who befriends “a macabre, nine-year-old girl named Dylan who constantly urges him to wreak havoc on her town.” Rob Riggle will be playing the mighty godlord, and professional macabre girl Aubrey Plaza will be playing Dylan—replacing Josh Miller and Mary Mack from the ADHD episodes. Ken Marino, John DiMaggio, Maria Bamford, Rachel Butera, and Nick Rutherford will also show up in some capacity.
