Goldie Hawn joins HBO's ongoing quest for another Sex And The City

Sex And The City creator Darren Star, television’s premiere chronicler of pretty lady thoughts, is reportedly developing the HBO comedy pilot The Viagra Diaries, based on Barbara Rose Brooker’s novel about a 70-year-old woman who writes a column about sex in your senior years. Wonder what drew him to the material? Star is adapting the book with Goldie Hawn as the lead—whose age would likely be softened to just “in her 60s”—making for the actress’ first role since 2002’s The Banger Sisters. And yes, this is basically the even-more-senior citizen version of Sex And The City, and no, no one seems to mind that at HBO.
