Syd Barrett, one of rock's great eccentric geniuses, has passed on. Here's a good article from the UK Guardian's Observer Magazine about his later, post-Floyd years as a solitary recluse. As for me, I'll spend the afternoon listening to Piper At The Gates Of Dawn.
