You’ve got the Batmobile and the Batplane and the Batcopter and the Batboat. Batman is definitely hiding a pair of Batblades that he occasionally busts out for skate nights in Gotham. And now, for the right price, you can own your own Batpod, you fucking nerd.
The original—not a replica—Batpod used in The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises has gone up for auction on Prop Store, so start placing your Batbids. The Batpod will go for an estimated $80,000-$106,000, so only a real-life Bruce Wayne will be nabbing this rather expensive toy, especially given the fact that you can’t even ride it. Once upon a time, this bad boy ran so that Christopher Nolan could capture some practical Batchase effects, but its fluids, battery, and gears have since been removed, rendering the Batpod a mere display item. (More like Bat-immobile.) If you were only willing to shell out $100k in order to fulfill your dreams of arriving at the grocery store in the Batpod, go ahead and save your money for a different fancy toy.
