Graceland to get facelift

Graceland–chez Presley, not the Paul Simon album–is being targeted for a massive overhaul. According to AP, tycoon investor Robert F.X. Silverman (who bought the rights to Elvis' name and image in 2005) is planning a $250 million facelift for the Memphis tourist trap that will include a new visitors center, a convention hotel, spiffy new souvenir shops, and "the kind of technical wizardry" (us regular folks like to call it rotoscoping) that allowed Celine Dion to duet with The King on American Idol last season. Says Silverman, "People will actually think Elvis is there." Rather than, say, hiding out in a nursing home in Texas.
