Great British Bake Off is getting a pint-sized spin-off with Junior Bake Off

If you’re part of the legion of fans who enjoy a gorgeous confection garnished with a slice of judgment, we have good news. Great British Bake Off has not only been renewed for two additional years, but will soon add a new ingredient: stressed children.

U.K. Broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned Junior Bake Off for the first time from Love Productions, expanding to a new two-series deal. The adorable 15-part spin-off is slated to air later this year.

“We are delighted to have extended Bake Off’s stay on Channel 4 after two great years together,” said Richard McKerrow, Chief Executive at Love Productions. “We have been hugely encouraged by the audience response and feedback the show has received during its time on Channel 4 and are thrilled to be bringing Junior Bake Off to the Channel.”

Great British Bake Off returns to airwaves later this year for its tenth delicious season.
