The mere presence of Johnny Depp and Jude Law is probably going to be hugely distracting in the Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them sequel, but they won’t actually be the only people in the movie. Eddie Redmayne will be returning to play Newt Scamander, and now Variety is reporting that Green Room’s Callum Turner will be joining the film as well. He’ll be playing Newt’s brother, a character we otherwise don’t know much about, but the Harry Potter wiki says his name is Theseus and that he’s an Auror, which is basically like magic FBI. Theseus is also supposed to be Newt’s older brother, but Turner is younger than Redmayne, so maybe they’ll retcon that or make him a totally new brother that nobody mentioned before. Other than that, we know that the movie will be set in Paris during an “increasingly dark time” for the world’s population of magic people.
