Gwen Stefani is joining The Voice as the show’s resident blonde female coach. She’ll join Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams on season seven of the NBC reality show, which premieres in the fall. And she’ll be replacing previous blonde female coach Shakira, who in turn replaced blonde female coach Christina Aguilera, who’s sitting out a couple of seasons due to pregnancy.
Stefani will make her formal debut on the show this season, performing alongside Williams on the May 5 episode. Williams will play his new single, “Come Get It Bae,” while Stefani will do “Hollaback Girl.”
