Haim shares tour dates, promises new music in video teaser
Haim will be touring throughout the United States, Canada and Scandinavia this summer, and the trio of sisters is poised to unveil new music in the process. The band tweeted a brief video on Tuesday evening with the caption “NEW SONGS. NEW SHOW. THIS SUMMER,” and laid bare its intent to perform after a long stint in the studio. “We’ve been in the studio for so long perfecting and trying to get it right,” the band says, noting that “at this point we just want to go out there and play the songs live.”
And Haim will indeed play live throughout much of North America, working its way through a glut of festival dates at The Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo before traversing the Atlantic for gigs in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. The North American leg of Haim’s summer is artfully displayed in a photo the band posted to Instagram on Wednesday.
