In recognition of the fact that kittens are always adorable and can be adopted on days other than Su-Purr Bowl Sunday, the Hallmark Channel has announced plans for the Kitten Summer Games. As with Hallmark’s Kitten Bowl—which recently had its second year and garnered 1.3 million viewers—the Kitten Summer Games will feature adoptable kittens doing adorable things with sports-themed cat toys.
The inaugural Kitten Summer Games will be held in August 2016, and Hallmark Channel will partner with animal shelters to boost adoptions during the event. Of course, you don’t have to wait more than a year to see adorable little kitties and adopt them. You can do that any time by visiting your local animal shelter or searching online for adoptable pets.
