Halt And Catch Fire is heading to Silicon Valley for season three
Halt And Catch Fire is shaking off the dust and armadillos of Texas and heading to Silicon Valley for its third season. AMC announced the move in a press release that included the season three premiere date. The new “Silicon Valley in March 1986” setting is the ideal place for Cameron (Mackenzie Davis) and Donna (Kerry Bishé) to try to break into the big leagues with Mutiny, though they’ll find new troubles with their new collaborators. Gordon (Scoot McNairy) will trudge along dutifully, wondering where he fits in at Mutiny while Joe (Lee Pace) continues to reinvent himself before encountering his old partners.
Toby Huss will be back as John Bosworth, but the season three cast will also include Annabeth Gish as Diane Gould, a “seasoned Silicon Valley venture capitalist,” and Manish Dayal (The Hundred-Foot Journey) as “talented and ambitious programmer” Ryan Ray. AMC also shared these photos from the new season. The period drama will return to the network on August 23 with back-to-back episodes.
