Harrison Ford to charmingly mumble his way through his first animated movie

Harrison Ford has done many things, like crashing a few airplanes, repeatedly dumping on Ryan Gosling, and rescuing a stranded driver after a car crash, but apparently he has never lent his growly voice to a kid-friendly animated film. Finally, though, he’s going to rectify that with an appearance in The Secret Life Of Pets 2, the sequel to the 2016 animated hit that’s probably best remembered for starring Louis CK. We don’t know who Ford will be playing, but given every animated movie ever, he’ll either be a gruff and angry dog or something that seems cute and innocent like a goldfish but acts gruff and angry.

That news comes from Deadline, which says that The Secret Life Of Pets 2 will also feature Tiffany Haddish, Nick Kroll, and Pete Holmes, with Patton Oswalt reportedly stepping in to replace Louis CK as the voice of lead dog Max. The rest of the first movie’s cast, including Jenny Slate, Kevin Hart, Ellie Kemper, Hannibal Buress, and Bobby Moynihan, will be reprising their roles.
