Although plenty busy with, among other things, a little duology called The Hobbit, Pan's Labyrinth director Guillermo Del Toro has partnered with The Chronicles Of Narnia producer Mark Johnson to adapt David Moody's novel Hater–"a thriller about an epidemic of ordinary people suddenly acting violently with no regret that can strike anywhere and anyone." Johnson had hoped Del Toro would direct the film, but he'll serve as producer only, as The Hobbit is apparently a "monumental task" of some sort.
