HBO attempts to make a sentient monster out of conservative rage by developing Fox News movie

Having already angered conservatives by making movies about Sarah Palin and putting George W. Bush's severed head on a spike, HBO has decided to create some sort of golem out of angry Internet comments by developing a film about Fox News mastermind Roger Ailes, one that will be executive-produced by Ari Emanuel (brother of Rahm) and MSNBC co-host Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. "HBO STAND FOR 'HEIL BARACK OBAMA,' YAAARGH," frightened villagers will soon hear over the sound of sluicing mud, as the network readies the project based on a book still yet to be completed by Gabriel Sherman—the investigative journalist whose New York Magazine article on Ailes, "The Elephant In The Green Room," painted Ailes as a manipulative narcissist who uses his "news" channel to promote his own agenda, thus really, really hurting his feelings. The TV movie will apparently take that one step further: "The idea is that it should make Fox News look like a Mafia," one source tells Deadline, as the ground began to quake with the sound of "LIBERAL HIT-PIECE PROVE HBO HATE AMERICA BLAAAAARGHHH" in the distance, and all the livestock fled into the desert.
