HBO cancels The Life And Times Of Tim
The low-key and mostly unappreciated The Life And Times Of Tim has been canceled by HBO, but there’s still a chance that it could find a new home. Production company MRC has already begun shopping the Steve Dildarian-created animated comedy of awkwardness to other networks, including Comedy Central, TBS, and Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, and Deadline reports that there has been interest from more than one place. Should it land at Comedy Central it would be a belated homecoming of sorts, as Tim was originally slated to be picked up by the network after Fox passed on the original pilot, but Warner Bros. never closed the deal. Tim just wrapped its second season, and whoever picks it up would be getting the existing 20 episodes plus a potential third.
