Springtime is a time for new beginnings, and this spring has Sarah Jessica Parker wondering…what if new beginnings are really just old…not-beginnings? So goes the Sex And The City star’s musing voiceover this week, as a decade after helping to make each other household names and several months after they started developing the project, she and HBO are officially reuniting for a new series.
Divorce will chronicle a protracted split between Parker and soon-to-be-ex-husband Thomas Haden Church which makes her realize that “a fresh start is much harder than she thought.” But while Church is in divorce court uptown, downtown Parker will be courting friendship with Molly Shannon (SNL) and Talia Balsam (Mad Men).
Meanwhile, Parker couldn’t help but wonder…when we divorce Thomas Haden Church, aren’t we really hatin’ divorce, while churching…our hearts?
