HBO has greenlit a pilot for Togetherness, a single-camera comedy from Mark and Jay Duplass, the sibling filmmaking team behind Jonah Hill-as-overgrown-child vehicle Cyrus, Jason Segel-as-overgrown-child vehicle Jeff, Who Lives At Home, and numerous other low-key indie comedies. Togetherness—which focuses on two couples living under the same roof, fighting “to keep their relationships alive while pursuing their individual dreams”—definitely seems right in that wheelhouse. Mark, who already plays an overgrown child (albeit a devious and manipulative one) on The League, has no plans to star in the series.
