The immersive craze that is Second Life reaches a logical conclusion in the documentary My Second Life: The Video Diaries Of Molotov Alva, which HBO just nabbed and plans to run in the spring. The film was shot entirely in SL, and never leaves that world to explain its concept. Money quote from director Douglas Gayeton: "I had to deal with everything directors deal with in the real world, like weather and unruly crowds. And then I had problems you don't have in the real world, like I'd show up one day and the location would be gone." (Variety)
