HBO renews Game Of Thrones, obviously

Confirming anew that someone at HBO is capable of reading numbers and assigning meaning to them, the network has already announced a fourth-season renewal for Game Of Thrones, after the series drew a record 4.4 million viewers to Sunday’s premiere. (This, plus another record 1 million-plus illegal downloads, the meaning of which is only now beginning to dawn on them.) The renewal notice doesn’t specify, but it’s expected that the next season of Game Of Thrones will also run 10 episodes and draw from the back half of George R.R. Martin’s A Storm Of Swords—plus maybe at least one hour that just covers all the publishing credits, to give him more time to catch up and finish the series already.
