HBO's gut-wrenching doc Leaving Neverland concludes tonight
Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Monday, March 4. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Leaving Neverland, part 2 (HBO, 8 p.m.) / Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland (HBO, 10 p.m.): Dan Reed’s gut-wrenching documentary airs its second half tonight, focusing on Michael Jackson’s alleged abuse and the investigations of Jackson in 1993 and 2003. Afterwards, HBO will debut a pre-taped follow-up special Oprah Winfrey Presents: After Neverland, featuring conversations between Oprah, director Reed, and Wade Robson and James Safechuck, Jackson’s alleged victims and the subjects of Leaving Neverland.
Regular coverage
I Am The Night (TNT, 8 p.m.): season finale
Arrow (The CW, 8 p.m.): While Arrow has logged a pretty solid seventh season so far, the show’s last outing—the ambitious, but utterly mishandled “Emerald Archer”—left us with a bad taste in our mouths. Team Arrow hopes to course-correct with tonight’s “Brothers & Sisters,” which, as the episode title implies, will see Oliver trying to connect with his surprise half-sister Emiko.
