Hear a new song by The Crookes, enhanced by members of Low

The Crookes is a British band that echoes some of the classic sad-and-jangly outfits of the Isles from which they came, like The Smiths and Orange Juice. Low is a trio from Duluth, Minnesota, where it is sometimes very cold. In April of this year, The Crookes released their third album, Soapbox, and the married-to-each-other members of Low, Mimi Parker and Alan Sparhawk, have just enhanced and remixed the song, and you can hear it for the first time below. Most notable is the inclusion of Parker’s gorgeous voice. The Crookes are in the midst of a U.S. tour, which is coming to a town near you, but only if you live in one of the towns on the very short list below. If you don’t, you can still enjoy the song.
