Hear a new track from Flock Of Dimes, the solo project of Wye Oak's Jenn Wasner

On Sept. 25, Merge Records will release a new 7-inch by Flock Of Dimes, the new solo project from Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner. The limited-edition record is available for pre-order now.

Below, The A.V. Club has the premiere of “Curtain,” the album’s A-side. Ethereal and electro-tinged, the track accentuates all of Wasner’s vocal abilities, but it stays a little lighter than Wye Oak’s more rocking material.

Flock Of Dimes will perform at North Carolina’s Hopscotch festival later this year, and meanwhile, Wye Oak has a bunch of tour dates lined up, including a spot at the sold out A.V. Fest Sept. 14-15.
