Hear The Rural Alberta Advantage take on David Bowie's "Starman"
For the past couple years, Paper Bag Records has released a covers compilation as a free download. Last year’s comp had everyone from Born Ruffians to You Say Party covering Madonna’s True Blue, but this year, the label’s acts are going full Martian, covering David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust on the occasion of it’s 40th anniversary. The A.V. Club has the premiere of one of the tracks, The Rural Alberta Advantage’s take on “Starman,” and the full record can be downloaded on label’s site.
Paper Bag celebrates its tenth anniversary with a series of shows in Toronto this week. Tickets are available now.
