According to The Hollywood Reporter, Heather Graham, Elizabeth Reaser, and Larry Cedar have joined the cast of NBC’s Law And Order True Crime: The Menendez Brothers. The new anthology series will tell different serialized true crime stories every season, with the first one focusing on Lyle and Erik Menendez, a pair of brothers who murdered their parents in the ‘80s. Much like American Crime Story’s The People Vs. O.J. Simpson season, this series will focus on the trial and the media circus surrounding the trial just as much as it will on the murders themselves.
Graham will be playing Judalon Smyth, a “sexy” and “emotionally fragile” woman who has an affair with the brothers’ psychologist. Reaser will play a deputy district attorney working on the case, and Cedar will play an uncle of the brothers who wants their family’s fortune.
The series stars Edie Falco, it will premiere later this year, and it already has a trailer.
